Finding Joy
Venue: Friendship Heights Village Center (FHVC)
Exhibition Period: December 8, 2025, thru January 31, 2026
Juror: Jordan Bruns - J. Jordan Bruns lives and works in the Washington, DC area and has been the resident artist in the Chautauqua Tower at Glen Echo Park, Maryland for ten years. In 2004, he received BFAs in Painting and Illustration at Maryland Institute College of Art. He then went on to earn an MFA in Studio Painting at Indiana University in 2007. He currently manages and teaches at Glen Echo Park in the Chautauqua Tower (a.k.a. The Stone Tower) where his studio also located. His work is in the public collections of Novartis Pharmaceuticals and Kaiser Permanente solo exhibitions include Long View Gallery (Washington, DC) and The Indiana University Art Museum (Bloomington, Indiana). His numerous group shows include “Transient Geometries” at The Antelope Valley College Art Gallery (Lancaster, California) and “Color Schooled” (Long View Gallery, Washington, DC). His work has also been exhibited in Scope Miami in 2014, Context Miami in 2017 & 2018 as well as Aqua Miami in 2019 all during Art Basel Miami. He is represented by Alida Anderson Art Projects (Potomac, MD) and his work can be seen weekends at the Stone Tower at Glen Echo Park.

*Please note that participation as an artist in the 2025 Art Walk requires a 2025 Ch/Art membership paid in full by March 31, 2025.

Come discover 77 local artists showing their work in 31 homes / studios around Chevy Chase, MD and DC. Stroll, bike, or drive around to see the art, and meet friends at the most talked about event in the area!
Ch/Art artists offer work in a wide range of media: painting, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, ceramic art, photography, fabric art, & mixed media.
Spring Pop Up Art Show
Ch/Art is pleased to present its Spring Pop Up Art Show and Sale at the PNC Bank Parking Lot at 5530 Connecticut Avenue, NW, featuring a selection by local painters, sculptors, potters, jewelers, fiber artists and many more sharing their recent work, all of which is available to purchase.
Ch/Art’s 3rd Annual Art Walk 2022
Ch/Art Art Walk 2022, will be held on Saturday October 22 and Sunday October 23 from 12-5pm, there is no rain date. The event is free and open to the public. Come and discover the 67 artists showing their work in 22 home studios in and around Chevy MD and DC. Stroll, bike or drive around to see the art, sip some wine and met your friends at the most talked about event in the area!
WOW4! — Windows on Wisconsin Part 4
Ch/Art, the Chevy Chase arts group, is pleased to present WOW4! (Windows on Wisconsin) Part 4 – Duets. Curator Kirsty Little’s call for ‘Duets’ has brought together couplings of a talented group of mixed media artists from Ch/Art: Rachel Rice, John Allen, Rebecca HirshVivian Cavalieri, Andrew Wohl, Madeleine Greenwald, Casimira.

Ch/Art, the Chevy Chase arts group, is pleased to present WOW3! (Windows on Wisconsin) Part 3 – Duets.
